Orders for in-stock items ship 2 to 3 business days after the order is placed. Custom tarps and made-to-order items ship 10-14 business days after the order is placed. Once an order ships, we will notify you (via email) with a tracking number.
What are your return and refund policies?
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Custom items are exempt from being returned and refunded.
Made-to-order items (canvas, vinyl, etc) can be returned, but refunds have to be submitted for approval only after we receive the returned item.
Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Sale items (if applicable) Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable) We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and only within the 30 day window mentioned above. What is Cut Size and Finish Size?
Cut Size is the size listed, such as 10 x 12 Tarp. Finish Size is what the tarp measures after the hem is sewn, leaving it 3-5 inches smaller. So that 10x12 tarp will actually measure 9ft, 8in. x 11ft, 8in. This is an industry standard and applies to all tarps, be it one of ours or one of our competitors.
How do you ship my order?
All orders ship via UPS Ground and LTL Freight. We can also ship on your FedEx or UPS account if you have one.
How do I cancel my order?
Made-to-order items cannot be cancelled while they are in production. You will incur a fee equaling 80% of your order total. Orders for off-the-shelf items (poly tarps) can be cancelled prior to shipping. If an order has already shipped, it is the responsibility of the customer to ship it back to us at customer’s expense. If an order is refused, all return shipping charges will be charged to the customer’s account.
How do I care for my tarp?
Taking proper care of your tarp is essential to its longevity and performance. While all tarps and covers are made to last, not maintaining them will hinder their ability to last year after year. If storing a tarp, ensure that it is free of any debris such as rocks than can tear at the material. When using your tarp, make sure the tarp is secure at each grommet, so than no one grommet is bearing a heavier load than the next. Remember that the tarp can essentially become a sail in windy areas. We recommend you not test Mother Nature when winds become heavy gusts.
What if my tarp is defective?
If your tarp has a defect, please email us a picture of the defect at info @ tarpswarehouse.com (no spaces) and include your order number with it. One of our Customer Service Representatives will then assist you in your exchange.

I tore my tarp, can you help?
It happens with some tarps. There was a nail sticking out and you didn't see it, and now your tarp has a two foot tear in it. Head on over to our Tarp Accessories page and check out our tarp tapes. They work extremely well and the adhesive is super strong. If you're not sure if the tarp tape color will match your tarp, go with the clear option.
